Spa - Belgium 2008
What a race for Spa in 2008.
Funfilled excitment that started from the beginning, with Lewis loosing out to Raikkonen at the start of the race allowing the Finn to lead for the majority of the race.
Even the pit strategy of Hamilton's McLaren team couldn't help the order of play.
With only a matter of a few laps remaining and the warning of rain already given by Race Control, finally the heavens opened.
Two laps to the finish saw some of the most entertaining racing of the weekend, only a couple of drivers managed to get in to the pits with time to change the tyres to cope with the conditions Nick Heidfeld making the remarkable jump to the bottom step of the podium.
Lewis caught right up with Kimi with a cautious passing which led to Raikkonen pushing Lewis round the outside, which meant Lewis had to give the advantage right back to avoid a penalty.
Straight after Hamilton got the position back, ran wide, lost the position, Raikkonen spun, and finally Hamilton controlled his way through, whereas Raikkonen came face to face with the wall, leaving him out of the race.
What a race, the ending took such courage, skill and determination from all of the drivers, providing an amazing outcome for 2008.
