What a race, finally another British Driver wins the British Grand Prix.
Lewis Hamilton proved that the wet Silverstone conditions would not get the better of him and proved why he is so good for the sport.
The race saw many ups and downs, with Felipe Massa frequently facing the wrong direction, Australian Mark Webber loosing his position early on with a spin from second position in the treacherous conditions.
Brilliant tactics from McLaren saw them make the right tyre choices, unlike main rivals Ferrari who missed the opportunity to change the tyres of Raikkonen’s car leaving Raikkonen to trail behind Hamilton, Heidfeld and the experience of 3rd place man Rubens Barrichello.
